EL MEU TREBALL
Professional de l’Educació amb més d’una dècada d’esperiència. Curiosa, Ambiciosa i Exigent.
Students finished the Aakash Nihalani project making big artworks. They used tape to make 3D shapes on the pavement and walls of the school. We hope you like them!
Once students practised in the classroom (last lesson), now, in pairs or small groups, they had to invent or copy an Aakash Nihalani design using chalk. They made their drawings on the playground pavement.
Students learnt who Aakash Nihalani is. He is known for his 3D shapes made on the streets and museums with adhesive tape. Inspired by him, pupils made 3D shapes with adhesive tape on a sized A3 cardboard.
Students continued working on the 3D and 2D shapes representation. Now, each class made a different 3D shape using popsicle sticks: hexagonal prism, triangular prism, cubes…
We started a new project. In our first session students learnt how to find and count the faces, the edges and vertices of a 3D shape. Then, they made a model and they drew it.
To finish the sculpture project pupils draw their magnetic sculptures. Besides, they invented a name for the sculpture and they completed some data about it. Here you can see the sculptures and their drawings. We hope you like them.
In this very session we built our magnetic sculptures using hardware and two magnets. What do you think?
The second session of our project was meant to paint the pieces of our sculptures. We painted them with permanent felt-tips using primary and secondary colours. Now we have the pieces ready to start building the sculpture in the next class.
We have started a new project about sculptures in the Art class. The first session was a very funny one because children painted some screws using paint and magnets. This is our first step towards the building of our sculpture. Stay tuned.
To finish with our textures project we printed a bag using paint for cloth and a white bag. We painted a sewer and we placed our bags on and that’s all. The urban art arrived to our school.
